Ingredients and Safety

Twinkle and Hex polishes are made with intention, so we have bold colors, fun shifts, and lots of shards. All of our formulas are 10-free, so we've left out ten of the most common ingredients in conventional nail polish. 

Every Twinkle & Hex polish is free from:

  • Toluene
  • Formaldehyde
  • Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP)
  • Formaldehyde Resin
  • Camphor
  • Ethyl Tosylamide
  • Xylene
  • Triphenyl Phosphate
  • Parabens
  • Animal-derived ingredients

That makes every polish cruelty-free, vegan, and easy to love. We use a professional-grade suspension base designed to hold glitters, shimmers, flakes, and pigments in suspension.

Depending on the shade, you may also find:

  • Cosmetic-grade mica and shimmer powders
  • Glitter blends
  • Color-shifting flakes
  • Thermal or solar pigments
  • Glow-in-the-dark pigments
  • Holographic or iridescent finishes

Butyl Acetate, Ethyl Acetate, Nitrocellulose, Adipic Acid/Neopentyl Glycol/Trimellitic Anhydride Copolymer, Isopropyl Alcohol, Trimethylpentanediyl Dibenzoate, Stearalkonium Hectorite, Acrylates Copolymer, Benzophenone-1.

CI 77007 (Ultramarines), CI 77510 (Ferric Ammonium Ferrocyanide / Iron Blue), CI 77266 (Black 2), CI 77891 (Titanium Dioxide), CI 15850 (Red 6, Red 7, Red 30, Red 34), CI 19140 (Yellow 5), CI 47005 (Yellow 10), synthetic fluorphlogopite, polyethylene terephthalate (glitter), mica, silica.

Safety Reminders

  • For external use only.
  • Flammable until dry keep away from heat and open flame.
  • Do not ingest.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Store in a cool, dark place.
  • Shake or roll gently before use to remix pigments and sparkle.
